Home Coming Concert

July 13, 2001 marked the opening of the New Music Room at DBS. The ceremony was scheduled during the cocktail session prior to the first night of the Fund-raising Concert 'An Undefiled Heritage'. Several members of the General Committee together with the Headmaster, Mr. Terence Chang and the Master-in-Charge of the Music Department officiated in the ribbon-cutting ceremony.
The costs for fitting out the old day boys' dining room into the new Music Room were mostly donated by the DSOBA. The Association decided to dedicate this room to the late Ronald Lam, who had served DBS and DSOBA tirelessly over many years. Ronald's sons were also invited to this occasion and witnessed the unveiling of the plaque signifying our respect to their father. |
