Dinner Talk with Michael Tien (67)
10th June, 2003
Dear fellow members:
In our continuing efforts in organising interesting activities for our members, I am pleased to invite you to join us at a dinner talk on 3rd July, 2003.
The speaker will be a fellow DBS old boy and past DSOBA President (89-92), Michael Tien Puk-sun, Class of 1967. Michael is Chairman of Kowloon-Canton Railway Corp., the G2000 Group and the Standing Committee on Language Education and Research. He is also Vice-chairman of the government-funded Employees Retraining Board.
The event will start with dinner, to be followed by short comments by Michael and then a question and answer session. You will have the opportunity of asking our speaker any burning questions you might have, and having Michael share with you his insights on many areas, such as:
- His insight about Hong Kong's future through his public sector engagements?
- His passion and struggle in managing the many facets of his private and public interest
- What are his views on the Hong Kong consumers, whether for clothing, education or transportation.
- His views on "An Abundant Life" - working for others as well as yourself.
- His advice to fellow old boys in this turbulent time.
As no press is allowed during this dinner, Michael will give us his candid views on everything (well, almost everything) you have questions on. As we want to ensure everyone has a chance to ask questions and to maintain a cozy atmosphere, we are limiting the number of participants to only 50 persons.
So do book early in order not to be disappointed. Call or send email to Amy today to reserve your seats. Please note payment must be received in advance in order to guarantee booking. Please be noted that the Dinner Talk is already fully booked.
